Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to the lowest setting, around 170°F (75°C) if possible. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2
Prepare the Apples

Wash, core, and chop 4 whole apples. There's no need to peel them unless you prefer to.

3
Cook the Apples

Place the chopped apples in a saucepan with a splash of water. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the apples are soft.

4
Puree the Apples

Transfer the cooked apples to a blender. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and blend until smooth.

5
Spread the Puree

Pour the apple puree onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it out evenly with a spatula to about 1/4 inch thickness.

6
Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours, or until the apple leather is dry but still pliable. The time may vary depending on the oven and thickness of the puree.

7
Cool and Cut

Allow the apple leather to cool completely. Peel it off the parchment paper, then cut it into strips with scissors or a knife.
