Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2
Season the salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the fillets and season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

3
Bake the salmon

Bake the salmon fillets in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and easily flaked with a fork.

4
Prepare the avocado lime sauce

While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado lime sauce. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Zest and juice the limes. Add the lime zest, lime juice, minced garlic, remaining olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the bowl with the avocado. Mash and mix the ingredients together until well combined.

5
Serve

Remove the baked salmon fillets from the oven. Top each fillet with a generous spoonful of the avocado lime sauce. Serve the Avocado Lime Salmon hot.
