Prepare chicken wings
If the chicken wings are whole, cut off the wing tips and discard. Cut the wings at the joint to separate the drummettes and flats. Pat the wings dry with paper towels.
Mix flour and seasonings
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and black pepper.
Coat chicken wings
Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the flour mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Heat oil
In a large, deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).
Fry chicken wings
Working in batches, carefully place the coated chicken wings in the hot oil and fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the wings with a slotted spoon and place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain excess oil.
Prepare Buffalo sauce
In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce, butter, white vinegar, and garlic powder. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined.
Toss wings in sauce
Place the fried chicken wings in a large bowl. Pour the Buffalo sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Serve
Serve the Buffalo chicken wings hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side. Enjoy!
