Read instructions and get ready to cook
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
Prepare the Chicken
Cut chicken breast into 1-inch pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove to a plate.
Prepare the Garlic
Peel and mince garlic cloves.
Start the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add Cream

Add Pasta
Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
