Prepare Onion and Garlic
Peel the onion and chop it into small pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely.
Sauté Aromatics

Chop and Add Tomatoes
Rinse the tomatoes and chop them roughly into chunks. Add them to the pot.
Season and Simmer
Add salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir everything well.
Add Broth and Cook
Pour in vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
