Steps
Read instructions and get ready to cook
Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash and cut potatoes
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into 1/4-inch thick strips, trying to keep the size uniform for even cooking.
Soak potatoes
Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Let soak for 15 minutes to remove excess starch.
Drain and pat dry
Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
Mix seasoning
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Coat potatoes with oil and seasoning
Return the dried potatoes to the large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the potatoes and toss again to distribute the seasoning.
Arrange potatoes on baking sheet
Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
