Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Cook pasta

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2
Cook bacon

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 6 minutes. Remove bacon from skillet and chop into small pieces.

3
Prepare garlic and shrimp

Mince garlic cloves. Season shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

4
Cook shrimp

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add seasoned shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.

5
Make Alfredo sauce

In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Cook until cheese is melted, about 1 minute.

6
Combine ingredients

Add cooked fettuccine, shrimp, and chopped bacon to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss until well combined and heated through, about 2 minutes.

7
Garnish and serve

Chop fresh parsley. Garnish pasta with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
