Rinse the spinach leaves thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.
Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the prepared spinach to the skillet and toss with the garlic and oil.
Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the spinach and stir to combine
