Prepare meatball mixture
In a bowl, soak breadcrumbs in milk. Finely chop onion and parsley. Mince garlic. Add beef, pork, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Mix well.
Form and cook meatballs
Shape mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs in batches, 6-8 min. Transfer to a plate.
Prepare mushrooms
Slice mushrooms. Finely chop remaining onion and mince remaining garlic.
Make mushroom sauce
In same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook until mushrooms release liquid, 5 min.
Finish sauce
Stir in flour, cook 1 min. Gradually stir in broth and cream. Simmer until thickened, 3-5 min. Return meatballs to skillet, simmer until cooked through, 8-10 min.
Serve
Taste sauce, adjust seasoning if needed. Serve meatballs and sauce hot over noodles or rice.
