Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the pineapple

Cut off the crown and base of the pineapple. Stand the pineapple upright and slice off the skin, following the contours of the fruit. Remove any remaining "eyes" with the tip of your knife.

2
Cut the pineapple

Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, then cut each half into quarters. Remove the core from each quarter.

3
Juice the pineapple

Cut the pineapple quarters into chunks that will fit through your juicer's feed tube. Feed the pineapple chunks through your juicer. If you don't have a juicer, blend the pineapple chunks in a blender until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.

4
Chill the juice

Transfer the pineapple juice to a pitcher or bottle and refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.

5
Serve

Pour the chilled pineapple juice into glasses and serve immediately. If desired, serve over ice or dilute with water or sparkling water to taste.
