Prepare the ingredients
Peel and devein the shrimp. Mince the garlic and shallot. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Chop the parsley leaves.
Cook the shrimp
Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
