Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the meatball mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

2
Form and bake the meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the turkey mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the meatballs with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.

3
Cook the pasta

While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.

4
Prepare the lemon sauce

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Zest and juice the lemons, then add the zest and juice to the skillet. Stir in the reserved pasta cooking water and bring the sauce to a simmer.

5
Combine the pasta and sauce

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the lemon sauce. Toss the pasta until it is well coated with the sauce. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining grated Parmesan cheese.

6
Serve and enjoy

Divide the lemon pasta among 4 serving plates. Top each portion with the baked turkey meatballs. Roughly chop the parsley leaves and sprinkle them over the dish. Serve the Turkey Meatballs with Lemon Pasta hot.
