Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the marinade

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 3 minced garlic cloves, the zest and juice of 1 large lemon, 1 tablespoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the chicken

Add 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts to the yogurt marinade and turn to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Prepare the cheese topping

In a separate bowl, crumble 4 ounces of feta cheese and mix it with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Prepare the parsley

Finely chop 1/4 cup of fresh parsley.

Assemble the dish

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in the prepared baking dish. Discard any remaining marinade. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

Bake the chicken

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.

Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and serve the yogurt and cheese chicken bake hot, alongside your favorite vegetables or salad.
