Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the beef

Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips, about 1/4-inch thick. Place the sliced beef in a bowl and set aside.

2
Prepare the vegetables

Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic cloves and grate the ginger. Thinly slice the green onions, separating the white and green parts.

3
Cook the noodles

Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

4
Make the sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until smooth.

5
Cook the beef

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

6
Cook the vegetables

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and white parts of the green onions. Stir-fry for 30 seconds, then add the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the broccoli is crisp-tender.

7
Add the sauce and noodles

Pour the sauce into the wok and bring it to a simmer. Add the cooked noodles and stir to coat them evenly with the sauce.

8
Return the beef to the wok

Add the cooked beef back to the wok and toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 1-2 minutes.

9
Serve the beef and broccoli noodle stir-fry

Transfer the beef and broccoli noodle stir-fry to a serving dish and garnish with the green parts of the sliced green onions. Serve hot.
