Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
Combine dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Alternate dry ingredients and milk
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined
Prepare apples
Peel, core, and chop apples into small pieces.
Fold in apples
Fold the chopped apples into the cake batter until evenly distributed.
Pour batter into pan
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake cake
Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool cake
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with confectioners' sugar
Once cooled, dust the cake with confectioners' sugar.
