Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the chickpeas
Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Pat them dry with a paper towel. In a medium bowl, toss the chickpeas with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper.
Roast the chickpeas

Toast the bread
