Steps
Read instructions and get ready to cook
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the bacon
In a large skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let cool on a paper towel-lined plate. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
Prepare the jalapeños
Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes, then finely chop the peppers.
Make the filling
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, and garlic powder until well combined.
Assemble the pinwheels
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into two rectangles. Pinch the perforations to seal. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
Roll and slice the pinwheels
Starting from the long side, roll up each rectangle tightly. Pinch the edges to seal. Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 8 equal pieces.
Bake the pinwheels
Place the pinwheels cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve and enjoy
Remove the Bacon Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
