Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.

2
Prepare the ingredients

Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

3
Mix the ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

4
Assemble the meatloaf

Divide the meat mixture in half. Press half of the mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Make a shallow well in the center and fill it with the shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the cheese with the remaining meat mixture, pressing it down to seal the edges.

5
Bake the meatloaf

Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

6
Let it rest and serve

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
