Read instructions and get ready to cook
Prepare baking dish
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal.
Rinse and drain chickpeas
Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
Process chickpeas
In a food processor, process the chickpeas until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients
Add the peanut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. Process until well combined and smooth.
Transfer fudge to baking dish
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Chill the fudge
Place the baking dish in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until the fudge is firm.
Cut and serve
Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge out of the baking dish. Cut into 16 equal-sized pieces. Enjoy!
