Prepare pan
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal.
Melt ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate has melted.
Add vanilla and salt
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
Pour into pan
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Chill fudge

Cut into squares
