Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat once melted.
To the melted butter, add 2 cups of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 4 large eggs. Whisk until well combined
