Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Cook the pasta

In a large pot, combine the white wine and water. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.

2
Prepare the sauce ingredients

While the pasta is cooking, dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves. Roughly chop the basil leaves.

3
Cook the seafood

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, scallops, and clams. Cook until the shrimp are pink, the scallops are opaque, and the clams have opened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the seafood with a slotted spoon and set aside.

4
Sauté the onion and garlic

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic to the remaining oil. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.

5
Add the tomatoes and seasonings

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chopped basil leaves, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

6
Combine the pasta, sauce, and seafood

Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss the pasta with the sauce until well coated. Add the cooked seafood and toss gently to combine.

7
Add the cheese and serve

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Drunken Seafood Pasta and toss gently to combine. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil leaves and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
