Cook the beef
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Prepare the vegetables
While the beef cooks, dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves. Chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, discarding the seeds and excess liquid.
Add the vegetables and spices
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the cumin, paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
Add the tomatoes

Serve
