Steps
Read instructions and get ready to cook
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the dough
Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small circle, about 5 inches in diameter.
Shred the cheese
Shred the mozzarella cheese.
Prepare the filling
Dice the ham into small cubes. Drain the pineapple and cut it into small chunks.
Fill the calzones
On one half of each dough circle, place a spoonful of marinara sauce, followed by a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese, diced ham, and pineapple chunks.
Seal the calzones
Fold the empty half of the dough over the filling, creating a half-moon shape. Press the edges with a fork to seal the calzones.
Brush with olive oil
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the top of each calzone.
Bake the calzones
Place the calzones on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve and enjoy
Remove the Hawaiian Mini Calzones from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve the calzones warm, and enjoy the delightful combination of sweet pineapple, savory ham, and melty mozzarella cheese!
