Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the herbs and vegetables

Finely chop the parsley leaves and basil leaves. Mince the garlic cloves. Finely chop 1/4 of the red onion, and slice the remaining red onion into rings for serving.

2
Mix the burger ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped parsley, chopped basil, minced garlic, chopped red onion, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.

3
Form the burger patties

Divide the burger mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.

4
Preheat the grill

Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).

5
Grill the burgers

Place the burger patties on the preheated grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for well-done burgers.

6
Toast the buns

During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place the hamburger buns cut-side down on the grill to lightly toast them.

7
Assemble and serve

Place the grilled burger patties on the toasted hamburger buns. Top with the reserved red onion slices and your favorite condiments. Serve the Herbed Beef Burgers immediately.
