Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Soak the almonds

Place the raw almonds in a bowl and cover with water. Let them soak for at least 8 hours or overnight.

2
Drain and rinse the almonds

Drain the soaked almonds and rinse them under cold running water.

3
Blend the almonds

Place the soaked and rinsed almonds in a high-speed blender. Add 4 cups of fresh water. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until the almonds are finely ground and the milk is creamy.

4
Strain the almond milk

Place a nut milk bag or a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth over a large bowl. Pour the blended almond mixture into the bag or strainer. Squeeze the bag or press the mixture with a spoon to extract as much milk as possible.

5
Store the almond milk

Transfer the strained almond milk to a bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before using.
