Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the Nuts and Seeds

Roughly chop 1 cup of almonds and 1/2 cup of walnuts. No need to chop the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, or flaxseeds.

2
Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the chopped almonds, walnuts, 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds, 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, and 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds.

3
Melt Coconut Oil and Sweetener

Gently heat 1/4 cup of coconut oil and 1/3 cup of honey or maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat until fully combined and liquid.

4
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Pour the melted coconut oil and honey/maple syrup mixture over the dry ingredients. Stir well until everything is evenly coated.

5
Press into Pan

Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to the pan and press down firmly with the back of a spoon or your hands to create an even layer.

6
Chill and Cut

Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours or until the mixture is firm. Remove from the fridge, lift the mixture out of the pan using the parchment paper, and cut into 12 squares.
