Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
Zest and juice the oranges. Add the zest and 1/2 cup of the juice to the wet ingredients.
Pour the wet ingredients and melted butter into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined (do not overmix).
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
