Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of cloves, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, 2 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
