Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wash and core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to create a bowl for the filling.
In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
Divide the filling mixture evenly among the cored apples, packing it tightly.
Place 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each stuffed apple.
