Read instructions and get ready to cook
Boil pasta water
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
Prepare chicken
Cut chicken breast into 1-inch cubes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook pasta
Add fettuccine to boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Cook chicken
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Slice mushrooms
Clean and slice the mushrooms.
Sauté mushrooms
