Indulge in fall-off-the-bone tender baby back ribs with a tangy, finger-licking glaze, all made in a fraction of the time using an Instant Pot. These ribs are first seasoned with a flavorful dry rub, then pressure cooked to perfection before being finished with a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. The result is succulent, flavorful ribs that taste like they've been slow-cooked for hours. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a hassle-free addition to your weekend barbecue.

Steps

Read instructions and get ready to cook

1
Prepare the ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.

2
Make the dry rub

In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

3
Season the ribs

Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, front and back.

4
Prepare Instant Pot

Pour apple cider vinegar and water into the Instant Pot.

5
Add ribs to pot

Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and arrange the ribs on it, standing up and wrapping around the pot.

6
Pressure cook

Close the lid, set valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.

7
Prepare the glaze

In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.

8
Natural release

After cooking, allow for 5 minutes of natural pressure release, then quick release the remaining pressure.

9
Preheat broiler

While the pressure is releasing, preheat your oven's broiler.

10
Glaze the ribs

Carefully remove ribs from Instant Pot and place on a baking sheet. Brush generously with the prepared glaze.

11
Broil

Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.

12
Serve

Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes, then cut into portions and serve with extra sauce on the side.
