Prepare the tomatoes
Rinse 4 medium tomatoes and slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Arrange the tomato slices on a large serving platter.
Prepare the mozzarella
Slice 8 ounces of fresh mozzarella cheese into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Place the mozzarella slices on top of the tomato slices.
Prepare the olives
