Read instructions and get ready to cook
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
Cook the bacon
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
Prepare the vegetables
Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
Mix the meatloaf ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, crumbled bacon, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands or a large spoon until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Shape the meatloaf
Transfer the meatloaf mixture to the prepared loaf pan. Press the mixture evenly into the pan, making sure there are no air pockets.
Glaze the meatloaf
In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup with 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake the meatloaf
Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest and serve
